Zheng Qiulai was transferred from the Fuping County Government Office to the Fuping County Foreign Trade Company as the General Manager. At that time, he led a small number of staff, rented several warehouses from a food company, borrowed 100000 yuan from the county finance, started from scratch and started a difficult business. After ten years of hard work and development, the company has more than 460 employees, expanding its business scope from the initial local specialty products to multiple industries such as grain and oil, traditional Chinese medicine, minerals, and handicrafts. Walnuts, almonds, and other products have always been the main exports of Fuping County.

In 1995, Baoding Tongxing Food Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Baoding Foreign Trade Storage and Transportation Company and China National Native Produce Import and Export Corporation, with Zheng Qiulai as the general manager. Tongxing Company specializes in walnut processing and has introduced walnut processing assembly lines.
In October 1999, a Sino foreign joint venture Baoding Dazheng Food Co., Ltd. was established with Zheng Qiulai as the general manager, continuing the professional operation of walnut products.
In 2002, Baoding Dazheng Company began to do deep processing of walnut products, and developed new products such as amber walnut kernel, amber Sunflower seed kernel, etc., which were exported to the European market.
In 2007, it passed the IFS International Food Safety Advanced Certification, effectively ensuring food safety and quality control.
In 2011 and 2013, laser color sorting machines and biological fingerprint sorting machines were introduced in the international industry. Improved production capacity and product quality, expanded export and domestic sales markets.
The planning and design of the factory area has become more reasonable, with updated automatic walnut shell breaking and sorting assembly lines and amber walnut kernel production lines, improving production efficiency and yield, and winning praise from domestic and foreign customers. At the same time, under the jurisdiction of Fuping County, there are original fertilizer factories, Fangtaikou, Zhaowangtai, Datai and other walnut manual shell breaking and selection processing workshops, which have driven more than 800 idle laborers to find employment.
In March 2019, Hebei Dazheng Food Co., Ltd. was established in the Gaofukou Agricultural and Sideline Products Industrial Park of Fuping County Economic Development Zone. A new factory area covering an area of 34.68 acres was constructed, with upgraded walnut shell breaking, sorting, and processing equipment for stripped walnut kernels and amber kernels. Becoming one of the top three export enterprises of walnut products in China.
